GENERAL
These terms & conditions refer to Gift Cards and E-Gift Cards (known collectively as "Gift Card/s"). The terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
Gift Cards cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash, and refunds will not be given for the purchase of a Gift Card. Refunds of items purchased with a Gift Card are subject to our Returns Policy, available here. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Gift cards are available to purchase in denominations of £20, £50, £100, £150, £200, £250, and £300.
EXPIRY DATES
Gift Cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Any remaining balance left on the Gift Card after the expiry of the validity period will be cancelled and the Gift Card will become invalid and no longer available for use. Expired Gift Cards cannot be reactivated nor can the unused remaining value be refunded.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
We accept credit cards as well as PayPal as a payment method for Gift Cards. Gift Cards can be purchased from our website here.
DELIVERY OF PHYSICAL GIFT CARDS
We aim to deliver the Gift Card within 2 days from despatch (excluding Sundays) but please allow up to 5 days for delivery. Your Gift Card will be sent out as a padded letter via Royal Mail.
You are obligated to provide the correct address for delivery of the Gift Card.
DELIVERY OF E-GIFT CARDS
If you purchase an E-Gift Card an order confirmation email will be sent right away and the Gift Card email will follow, usually within 1 working day. Every E-Gift Card you order in one transaction will be included and presented in a single email.
USE OF GIFT CARDS
Valid Gift Card codes can be entered on the checkout by clicking the Redeem Gift Card link found in the Order Summary section. If the order amount is less than the Gift Card amount, the last used Gift Card will be adjusted to match the remaining balance. The validity period will not be reset.
The Gift Cards can be used until the balance of the Gift Card is zero and within the validity period.
RETURNS GUARANTEE
Gift Cards cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash, and refunds will not be given for the purchase of a Gift Card.
If you paid with a combination of gift card and another payment method, we'll refund anything you paid for with your gift card first, and then refund any outstanding credit you are owed to your original payment method.
LIMITED LIABILITY
Poetry cannot be held liable for Gift Cards or E-Gift Cards once activated, which subsequently are lost, stolen, inactivated, or damaged. Treat your Gift Cards as cash.
